Public release policy
This repository is a public scholarly resource, but the underlying research archives were not created on the assumption that every internal artefact would be published.
Public release is therefore selective.
Material suitable for public development
- social-science-facing worked cases with checked evidence-status labels;
- clearly labelled constructed teaching scenarios that do not masquerade as empirical records;
- methodological diagrams created for the resource;
- reusable documentation templates;
- verified quotations with clear source notes;
- public-source links;
- publication metadata once public;
- seminar material after a separate circulation review;
- social-science-facing explanations of the Academic Writing Filter and manuscript-governance framework.
Material not included by default
- complete private AI chat histories;
- internal retrieval ledgers;
- internal evidence dossiers;
- confidential peer-review reports;
- unreleased manuscript material not intended for circulation;
- third-party images without clear reuse rights;
- reconstructed screenshots presented as if they were originals;
- the canonical Academic Writing Filter file before its provenance/copyright and open-licence decision is complete;
- internal Academic Writing Filter reviews, pilot evidence, historical snapshots or conversation-specific development records.
Principle
Transparency does not require indiscriminate disclosure.
The public resource should disclose enough evidence to make its claims auditable while respecting confidentiality, intellectual property, third-party rights and the difference between an internal research record and a public scholarly object.
